The DETOSTOP Explosion Prevention System relies on a precision engineered proprietary aluminium alloy mesh to provide protection from explosive combustion in fuel tanks and other containers filled with flammable liquids and gasses. It has ben developed to provide rapid thermal conductivity, rigid mesh structure, crush strenght and superior corrosion resistance. Function Method:

 

  • The high thermal capacity alloy of DETOSPO acts as a heat sink. It instneously removes dangerous thermal energy.

 

  • The mesh design seperates hot gaseous mixtures instanteously into small volumes which extinguish any flame or explosive process extremly fast and reliable.

 

  • The mesh acts as a physical barier to the traveling flame front and as a berrier to fires of all kind.

 

  • The mesh-structure reduces the swash-effect tremendously

 

 

DETOSTOP is available in rolls or balls which both are adaptable to the space to be filled in existing containers and jerry cans of alll types.

 

Extensive testing has been performed over the last 20 years by the German Army´s test center in Meppen, U.S. Air Force Flight Test Center at Wright Patterson AFB, U.S TARDEC/SWRI Fuels and Lubricants LAb in San Antonio, T.E.S.I and RINA in Italy etc
