DiNelly Aircraft WAS THE FIRST WORLDWIDE

TO INTEGRATE A GYRO MOUNT

INTO A GYROCOPTER

We are the pioneer in the field of gyo mount in

connection with gyrocopter and LTA aircrafts since 2005

In the year 2005 the CEO and founder of DiNelly, Richard Waidhofer, started to integrate aerial sensing equipment into the modified Skyship 600 as aerial mision operation platform for aerial sensing. Parallel Richard Waidhofer installed the requiered mounts for stbilization the photogrammetry camera systems. In the year 2007 afterwards Richard Waidhofer engineered a secretly military gyrocopter, the austrian company FD Composites with his gyrocopter Arrowcopter asked Waidhofers company Raecon for support. Due to the price structure and market situation Waidhofer recomended FD Composites for positioning the Arrowcopter as mission platform. Therefore Waidhofer discussed with Vexcel Imaging, Leica, Riegel,Visionmap and SOMAG AG the integration of sensorik at a Gyrocopter.

Due to the small spaceious possibilities at the Arrowcopter, Waidhofer discusses to set up at smal gyro mount and a smal photogrammetry camera.

After succesfully finishing of the agriculture aerial support project "John Deere" Richard Waidhofer visited 2011 at the Intergeo Leipzig the booth of Leica and SOMAG accompanied the Team of the "John Deere" project to inquiere about the status quo. Leica presented the RCD 30 and was happy with this. Mr. Waidhofer SOMAG AG, Mr. Schreiber showed Waidhofer the mock up of the actual CSM 130. As Mr. Schreiber informed Mr. Waidhofer there is no market for this small maount, Waidhofer made the offer to buy the whole project. But at that time SOMAG did not want to sell the small gyromount project. But Hr. Schreiber began to market the project as CSM 130 itself. Mr. Waidhofer therefore demanded an NDA with penalty and discussion at DiNelly's company with the Executive Board and the main shareholder of SOMAG AG. So Mr. Konrad Steps and Mr. Köllerer immediately visited Mr. Waidhofer at his Company Raecon at Ottobrunn. The NDA has been signed and exclusive rights for the market of gyrocopter of SOMAG AG mounts has been agreed. From then on the intensive and public cooperation of SOMAG AG and DiNelly began.
